What’s changing for ZKC
The anticipated update includes three changes:
- Recurring AI credits. Eligible stakers will receive credits in proportion to their share of eligible stake. Individual allocations will depend on the credit pool and total eligible stake.
- A new form of staking reward. Inference credits for eligible stakers will replace the existing ZKC staking and proving reward programs.
- A capped token supply. New ZKC emissions will end on a fixed date, establishing a capped total supply. The emissions end date and resulting cap will be published with the final program terms.
What comes next
We’ll share the credit amounts, eligibility requirements, refresh and expiration schedule, and launch date before the AI credit program begins. The final supply cap, effective dates, and instructions for existing participants will also be published through the Boundless Foundation’s official channels.

When will the ZK proving protocol pause operations?
The Boundless ZK proving protocol will pause operations on November 5, 2026. From that date, new proof requests can no longer be submitted.
When do I need to claim my proof rewards?
Claim all outstanding proof rewards before November 5, 2026. Unclaimed proof rewards will no longer be claimable from that date.
What happens to the Explorer and staking?
The Explorer UI will go offline on November 30, 2026. Staking will move to a new destination, with the link and access instructions shared through the Foundation’s official channels before the Explorer is retired.
